However, As a long term tenant, I can confirm that the safety of the residents in this building is not a priority for management or ownership. Even though our costs have gone up, less is being done to provide us with a sense of security. Having been verbally assaulted, chased, and watched transients attempt to break in, management will not address the issues and pretend that calling the police might be do something. They could easily install a gate to our shared courtyard front entrance. Instead people dump trash, sleep there and knock on our doors and windows at all hours.
There is also a very opaque utility bill process and now matter how many questions you ask, it will not become any clearer.
I would suggest finding a building with proper security, especially with how Portland is rapidly deteriorating.
I’m fortunate enough to have a garage which is a life saver for parking. Pricey 250 month
response from property -Hi Alison. Thank you for taking the time to post a review for Elite Court, as well as your concerns for the property. We are actively working on projects for this building, including security, and will continue to push the ownership for needed improvements. Resident safety is one of our top priorities, and will always be. We value your long-term tenancy, appreciate your constructive feedback, and hope you call Elite Court home for as long as you like. Hope you are staying cool this summer!

Since new management took over, things have improved greatly. We finally have a coin free laundry facility with new machines, locks on the side entrance gates and they removed a non functional recycling station that needed to go.
The few downsides of the complex parking is dire, even with a permit. I usually set aside 15 minutes to just hunt for parking after work each day. No air conditioning in the units and window units aren’t allowed. An increasing problem is the community of homeless people that roam the streets at all times of the day. Prior to getting locks on the gates, we would ALWAYS have people sorting through our garbage bins.
Overall it’s a great location with good management. Awesome neighbors and being close to so many restaurants and downtown is a huge plus
response from property -Hi Melanie! Thank you so much for taking the time to post this review. We appreciate your being here, and hope you continue to stay with us until life takes you into a new adventure. Oh, and regarding the AC, we do allow the portable units that tube to a window, just not the box kind. Don't hesitate to reach out should you need anything!
